Cheddar Cheese Soup, Home Quantity
This version of the recipe is much more versatile.
ingredients
Sautee the following:- 1/4 lb. onions, diced
- 2 oz. carrots, grated
- 12 oz margarine
- 6 oz. flour
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- pinch nutmeg
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 lb. cheddar cheese, grated
- 8 oz. cream
- 4 oz. beer
- 1 1/4 quart chicken broth
directions
- 1
Serve hot.
- 2
Offer popcorn to put on top.
