Fried Greek cheese
Beat the egg and put the flour on a plate. Dip the cheese slices in the egg, the roll in the flour. Melt butter in a frying pan and fry the cheese until the flour coating is golden. Squeeze lemon juice on the cheese before removing from pan and serve immediately.

notes:
I purchase the cheese at the Greek grocer already sliced to the proper thickness. This cheese can be made flaming by adding brandy to the pan and extinguishing the flames with the lemon juice. Be sure to yell opa! when you put out the flames.
