Perogies
A long-standing family recipe. So much better than the average perogy.
ingredients
- DOUGH:
- 6 Egg Whites
- 2 Whole Eggs
- 1 Tbsp. Salt
- 1 Cup Milk
- Flour, until stiff like pasta
- FILLING:
- 2 Cups Mashed Potato
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
- 3 Egg Yolks
- Cottage Cheese

Combine wet ingredients w/ fork, add dry slowly mixing in w/ fingers until correct consistency.

Roll out the dough & cut into circles.

Combine filling & add a Tbsp. into center of each circle.

Moisten edges, fold & seal circles.

Boil in pot of salty water, remove once they float.

Optional: fry in pan w/ butter.

Serve with sour cream & fried onion.
