Shrimp Creole
Aunt Jocie makes this recipe. I looked at it and thought it looked really boring. Then I made it. Well, not only is it NOT boring, it is good and easy!
ingredients
- olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- shrimp, as much as you want to throw in
directions
Sautee onion, green pepper and garlic in olive oil for 10 minutes. Add salt, pepper, paprika and tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Add shrimp, heating thoroughly. Serve over rice.
