Cheese Cookies
The idea for these tiny little nuggets comes from the cookbook created by the Fredericksburg Junior Women’s Club in 1968, or so. However, Mema, I soon discovered, had a variation on the Women’s Club theme. The book, as seen here, is cute, but the recipe is not nearly so interesting. I have adopted Mema’s recipe that I pass on to you.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Bring butter and cheese to room temperature.
Mix all ingredients together by hand.
Roll into tiny balls. Place on cookie sheet...it doesn’t need to be greased.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Store in airtight container until ready to serve.
