Pecan Shortbread Squares

ingredients

• Crust
• 3/4 cup flour
• 1/4 cup corn starch
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter cut into 1-inch pieces
• Filling
• 12 TBSP (1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter)
• 3/4 cup light brown sugar
• 3 TBSP honey
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• Generous pinch salt
• 2 TBSP heavy whipping cream
• 3 cups coarsely chopped pecans
