Kaki's Old English Toffee

Kaki guarded this “secret recipe” like no other. She had a marble slab just for this. She knew it was one of my very favorite things in the world, and would make it for me much more often than necessary. I sure loved her for it. In my world, this is The Toffee By Which All Others Are Judged.
ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 pound butter
- 1 pound milk chocolate (Kaki bought Hershey bars in multi-packs)
- 1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup grated pecans
