Squash Purée

  • 2 12 oz packages frozen cooked squash, thawed
  • 2 Tb maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped dates
  • 1/8 - 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup pecans

    Preheat oven to 375°F.

    In medium bowl combine all ingredients but pecans. Spread evenly into a 9" pie pan. Sprinkle nuts over top.

    Bake until heated through, about 15 minutes.
