Recipe shared by Kathi Fishbain. They are my absolute favorite sweet treats!
- 1 1/4 lb confectioner’s sugar (about 5 1/2 cups)
- Grated rind on 1 lemon, juice of 2 lemons
- Grated rind and juice of 2 oranges
- 3 Eggs
- 1 1/3 c Sugar
- 1/2 c water
- 1/1 2 c flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
Recommendation: Make syrup first, so you can be ready to dunk as soon as they come out of the oven. I also double-dunk if I have enough syrup!
