Chicken Spaghetti

This is my all-time favorite recipe of Kaki’s. She knew how much I loved it, and would make it for many of our visits with her.

ingredients

  • 1 hen (4-5lbs) boiled and cut up in small pieces (save broth)
  • OR
  • get a rotisserie chicken or two and a can of broth
  • 2 green peppers
  • 3 lg onions
  • 2 T chili powder
  • 1 lb pkg spaghetti noodles
  • 2 c Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 lg can Mushrooms
  • 1 sm jar Pimiento
  • 1 lb grated Sharp Cheddar
  • 3 T Chicken Broth
  • 1 1/2 c chopped Celery
  • 3 T Worchestershire Sauce
  • Salt & Pepper

notes

Makes 3-4 casseroles for freezing. If you freeze it, thaw before cooking. It takes a LONG time to thaw.
