Pepper nuts (Pfeffernuse)

This is one of Jennifer’s favorite recipes. I can’t wait to try them myself.
ingredients
- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 2c. brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp karo syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. baking soda w 1 tbsp hot water
- 7 c. flour
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
