Cheese Straws

Nick and I spent many, many wonderful days in the office at Target (AKA TSC). I called him Nicky and he had many choice names for me. Nick was and is one of my best friends.

  • 1. Grate cheese with a food processor or grater.

  • 2. Mix all ingredients thoroughly in food procecessor until mixture forms a ball;OR use 2 knives work together until crumbly, then form into a ball.

  • 3. Roll dough on lightly floured board, cut into ⅛ inch wide strips, about 4 inches long.

  • 4. Place strips on a cookie sheet, sprinkle with paprika, and a little red pepper.

  • 5. Bake in preheated 350° oven, 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on rack, store in airtight container. Will keep indefinately.
