Greek Salad
ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup Extra-virgin olive oil
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- A pinch of allspice
- Kosher salt and cracked black pepper, to taste
- 2 hearts romaine lettuce, chopped
- 2 plum tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 medium red onion, sliced very thin
- 1/2 seedless cucumber, sliced thin
- A handful pepperoncini hot peppers, chopped
- A palmful (2 Tbsp. or so) chopped fresh oregano
- 1/4 lb. feta crumbled
- A handful pitted, oil cured or Kalamata black olives
