Nelda’s Chocolate Cake

In Loja Nelda was our senior missionary. When ever they wanted to have brown sugar for baking they had to scrape it off a hard bar of sugar that had been boiled in a vat and cooled.
ingredients
- 2 1/4 Cups flour
- 1 1/2 sugar
- 1 tsp soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 Cup cocoa
- MIX
- Add 1 egg
- 2/3 cups oil or less
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup sour milk.
