Baked Apples
Healthy and easy to make
ingredients
- Baking Apples
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
- Water
- Spices such as:
- Allspice
- Cloves
- Ginger
- Lemon Zest
- Nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cut off top, remove stem, and peel skin off the upper quarter of each apple.

Place apples in a baking dish along with one inch of water.

Sprinkle apples with sugar, cinnamon, and any other desired spices.

Bake for 30 minutes.
notes
Good baking apples include: Cameo, Granny Smith, Jazz, Jonagold, Pink Lady, and Rome . It is helpful to use a tea strainer (see picture) to shake spices onto apples.
