Ambrosia/Marshmallow Fruit Salad

Recipe from Judy Palkoski 1990


  • 1 bags mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz. cool whip
  • 1 lb. can fruit cocktail
  • 1 (2 lb.) canned mandarin oranges
  • Extra maraschino cherries; halved, to liking.
  • Optional:
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup walnuts

Mix well. Refrigerate overnight. Makes 1 large family sized bowl.

    I would use fresh fruit instead of canned...would give a much better taste...
