Great Northern Bean Stew
ingredients
- 2 pounds bulk pork sausage
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cans (15-1/2 ounces) great northern beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 cans (28 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 4 cups chopped cabbage
- 2 cups sliced carrots
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
