Double Crust
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup margarine
  • 3 tablespoons cold water
Single Crust
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 tablespoons cold water

Double Crust

In a bowl mix 2 cups minus 2 tablespoons unsifted flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt. With pastry blender or two knives cut in 2/3 cup margarine until fine crumbs form. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons cold water over mixture, blend well. Press firmly into ball. Use for fruit pie.

Single Crust

Use 1 1/4 cups unsifted flour, 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup margarine, and 2 tablespoons cold water. For pre-baked shell, prick thoroughly and bake in 450F oven 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
