A terrific dish that can be served for brunch or dessert. The berries and break meld well together to create a delicious treat! I first had this dish at a B&B and then made it for my cooking club.

ingredients

  • 1 loaf sturdy white break cut into 1" cubes
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups of milk (more if assembling the night before)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cups frozen or fresh fruit mix (raspberries, blueberries, cranberries, ect) (DO NOT USE STRAWBERRIES-they don’t bake well)
  • 1/4 cup mixed fruit jam (preservatives)
