24 Hour Ham and Macaroni Salad

  • 1 cup tiny shell macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 2 hard cooked eggs, sliced
  • 1 cup fully cooked ham cut in strips
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp. chopped green onion
  • 1 tbsp. mustard

Rinse macaroni with cold water; drain. Set aside. In a colander, run peas under hot water until separated. Place the lettuce in the bottom of a 2-qt. casserole and sprinkle it with a little salt and pepper. Top with cooked macaroni. Sprinkle eggs slices with salt and arrange on top of macaroni. Layer in order; ham, peas, cheese. Stir mayo, sour cream, onion and mustard. Spread on top of salad, sealing to edge of casserole. Before serving, chill 3-24 hours.
