Owens Sausage Stuffing
Perfect for the Holidays - a family favorite!
ingredients
- 1 lbs Owens Sage sausage, crumbled and drained
- 2 C Pepperidge Farms herbed white bread crumbs
- 2 C Pepperidge Farms cornbread crumbs
- 2 C chicken broth
- 1 eggs
- 1/2 large onion, chopped
- 1 C celery, chopped
- 1/2 tsp rubbed sage
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp marjoram
- 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
- butter and 1/2 C fresh chopped parsley

Sauté onion and celery until soft. Take off heat and mix with sausage and bread crumbs in large bowl. Whisk broth and eggs together in a separate bowl. Add seasonings to dry mixture, then add the wet mixture.

Butter the inside of a casserole dish. Place dressing in the pan with pats of butter on top and sprinkle with parsley.

Bake at 350° covered for 30 minutes then uncovered for 30 minutes.
