Owens Sausage Stuffing

Perfect for the Holidays - a family favorite!

ingredients

  • 1 lbs Owens Sage sausage, crumbled and drained
  • 2 C Pepperidge Farms herbed white bread crumbs
  • 2 C Pepperidge Farms cornbread crumbs
  • 2 C chicken broth
  • 1 eggs
  • 1/2 large onion, chopped
  • 1 C celery, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp rubbed sage
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp marjoram
  • 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
  • butter and 1/2 C fresh chopped parsley

directions

  • 1

    Sauté onion and celery until soft. Take off heat and mix with sausage and bread crumbs in large bowl. Whisk broth and eggs together in a separate bowl. Add seasonings to dry mixture, then add the wet mixture.

    Butter the inside of a casserole dish. Place dressing in the pan with pats of butter on top and sprinkle with parsley.

    Bake at 350° covered for 30 minutes then uncovered for 30 minutes.
