Chocolate Kiss CookiesLee Ann Jindra
- 1/2 c shortening--I use 1/4 Crisco and 1/4 margarine but you can use all margarine)
- 1/2 c chunky peanut butter (Heinen’s is the best)
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 1/2 c white sugar
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 2 T milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 3/4 c flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 pkg Hershey Chocolate Kisses
Cream shortening, peanut butter, both sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk, vanilla and mix.
Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well. Roll into balls and then roll balls in granulated white sugar.
Bake 6-8 minutes at 375. Remove from oven and gently push Hershey Chocolate Kisses in center of cookie. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes. Watch carefully!
