  • 6 to 8 apples, quartered
  • about 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. pastry flour

    Place apples in buttered Pyrex pie pan.

    Work together the sugar, flour, butter, and cinnamon. With a pastry blender, or finger tips, work until crumbly, then pack closely over the apples.

    If apples are very dry, a little water may be placed in the bottom of the pie pan.

    Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream!
