- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- One yellow onion
- Two cans of chili beans with the sauce
- Two cans of Campbell’s Cheddar Cheese soup
- 1/2 soup can of milk
- One package of grated cheddar cheese
- Corn tortilla chips
Preheat oven to 350°F
Fry the ground beef and drain off the grease. Chop the onion and sauté.
Mix the soup, chili beans, milk together in a mixing bowl.
Spray a casserole dish with non-stick spray. Line the bottom and sides of the casserole dish with tortilla chips (break up as needed to contour to the sides of the casserole dish). Layer 1/2 the meat mixture and sautéed onions on top of the chips. Pour half of the bean, soup, milk mixture over the meat. Put a generous layer of grated cheese over the soup mixture. Repeat these layers ending with the grated cheese on top.
Bake for 30 minutes or until hot.
Great with hot biscuits, cornbread or rolls
