Healthy Biscotti
These look fancy but are actually pretty easy.
ingredients
- 2 cups whole-wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons flaxseed (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 2 large egg whites
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup dark chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup unsalted almonds

I like to play with the flavors...I usually replace the chocolate with cranberries or cherries.
