Doughnut Holes - DropKelly Larsson
Quick and easy doughnut holes, no yeast required!
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c milk
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- Vegetable oil for frying
Mix together the first 4 ingredients.
Combine the next 4 ingredients and add them to the first four.
The dough will be sticky.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or a deep pot to 365*F (or until a 1 inch cube of bread browns in 60 seconds, approximately medium-high heat on the stove)
Drop dough by small spoonfuls into oil.
The dough will expand quite a bit while frying.
Fry for about 4 minutes.
Roll in granulated or powdered sugar while still warm.
Another dessert we got a craving for in Sweden!
