- 1 box Bran Buds cereal (18 oz.)
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup melted crisco
- 3 cups sugar
- 4 beaten eggs
- 1 quart buttermilk
- 5 cups flour
- 5 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons salt
