Brown Gravy
For white gravy do not brown the oil with the flour.
ingredients
- Thin:
- 1 Tablespoon fat (baccon grease)
- 1 Tablespoon flour
- 1/2 Cup milk mixed with
- 1/2 Cup water
- Medium:
- 2 Tablespoons fat
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- 1 Cup half water-half milk
- Thick:
- 3 Tablespoons fat
- 3 Tablespoons flour
- 1 Cup half water-half milk
- Either way you make it always add salt to taste while cooking.
