Beef and Black Bean Chili
This 30 minute recipe from Rachael Ray adds a southwest flair to chili! Our family enjoys it every Christmas Eve with tamales.
ingredients
- 2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 4 to 6 cloves garlic, finely diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. ground cumin
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 (14 oz.) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 cans black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
