Sausage Penne

servings:Makes 8-12


  • 1 lb Hot Italian Sausage
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 2 jars Marinara Sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 box Penne Pasta


Brown meat in large pot, drain. Add marinara sauce to meat, and heat through. Meanwhile, boil water for pasta. Cook pasta as directed on box. Add cooked pasta to meat sauce. Mix. Pour pasta and meat sauce mixture into 9 X 13 baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 5-10 minutes until heated through, and cheese has melted.


I use Newman's Own Marinara sauce, or 1 jar Newman's Own Marinara Sauce and 1 jar Newman's Own Sockarooni sauce.
