Cranberry Salsa

This salsa is so additive. A great balance of fruity, spicy, and fresh flavors. It’s such a pretty color, it’s perfect for holiday parties.

ingredients

  • 1 pkg fresh cranberries: wash & discard any bad berries
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped (or use 1/2 can petite diced tomatoes or Rotel tomatoes with green chillies for a spicy salsa)
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped (or chop a few marinated jalapeños to taste)
  • 1/4 red onion, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime (I also like to add a little zest)
  • 1/4-1/2 c. cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
