  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 lb asparagus spears, trimmed and chopped
  • 1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes
  • 12 oz pasta (I used bow tie)
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil or 1/8 cup dried basil
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parmesan cheese
