Creamed Corn
ingredients
- 4 ears sweet corn
- 2/3 c cream
- 1/4 c water
- 1 t lemon juice
- 1 T butter
- Salt and pepper to taste

1. De-tassel corn. Blanche in boiling water for 4 minutes, drain, and strip kernels off cobs.

2. Heat cream, water, lemon juice, and butter and simmer for 1 minute.

3. Add corn, salt, and pepper and simmer until thick (about 10 minutes).
