Smokey, slightly salty sprouts

ingredients

  • 1 TBS Olive Oil
  • 8 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 LB Brussels Sprouts, halved
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt
  • Pepper

notes

The turkey bacon can be omitted for a vegetarian dish. Be careful not to overcook the sprouts as they will be sour if cooked for too long.
