Tailgate Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. Ground beef
  • 1 lb. Italian Sausage
  • 4 (15 oz.) cans chili beans, drained
  • 2 (28 oz.) cans diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 large yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 2 green chili peppers, seeded and chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. bacon bits
  • 4 cubes beef bouillon
  • 1/4 c. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. dried oregano
  • 2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. white sugar
  • Bag of corn chips
  • Shredded cheese

    1. Cook the ground beef and sausage in a pan until brown. Drain off all the grease.

    2. Put the meat and all the other ingredients into a 6 quart or bigger crock-pot. Stir well. Cook on low over night for about 18 hours.
