Gourmet Bean Soup
ingredients
- 1 lbs 16 Bean Soup
- 1 Large Onion, diced
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 2 Stalks of Celery
- 1 tbsp Diced Ortega Green Chiles
- 3 tbsp BBQ Sauce
- 1 28 oz. Can Tomatoes, undrained
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Clove Garlic, pressed
- 1/4 tsp Ginger
- 1/4 tsp Lemon Pepper
directions
Soak beans overnight. Drain and return to pot with 8 cups of water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 hour. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cut back heat to a simmer. Add 2 cups water after simmering for a while, if desired. Stir occasionally.
