• 3 C Flour
• 2 tsp Cream of Tartar
• 1 tsp Soda
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• Sift these together
• 1 C Shortening – mix into other ingredients until crumbly.
• 2 Eggs
• 1 C Sugar
• 1 tsp Vanilla
