A great recipe for making applesauce for canning.
ingredients
- 3 to 4 lbs. of peeled, cored, & quartered apples (use a good cooking apple)
- 3-4 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 inches of cinnamon stick (I coat the apples with cinnamon powder instead)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 cup water
