Crab and Cream Cheese Dip
This simple, easy to fix, tasty hot crab dip appetizer is a favorite of ours.
ingredients
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 C dry Vermouth
- 1 package of cream cheese (8 oz.)
- 1/4 C mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Coleman’s dry mustard
- dash garlic powder or more to taste
- Salt to taste
- 1 C lump crabmeat
directions
Mix sugar and Vermouth together until sugar is fully dissolved. Combine remaining ingredients except crab in a sauce pan and slowly heat until cream cheese is fully melted. Add crabmeat and mix well. Serve warm. Have crackers and crusty French bread rounds available for dipping. Do not burn mixture.
notes
