Early AM French ToastShirley
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 T. corn syrup
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. butter
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 loaf French Bread (cut into thick slices)
In med. saucepan, mix and melt brown sugar, butter and corn syrup.
Spray 9“ x 13” baking dish and put butter mixture on bottom.
Arrange bread slices over this.
Mix eggs, milk and vanilla and pour over bread, using all.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes the next day.
(Could add cinnamon or blueberries on top)
