Nut Cups

My mom’s friend Carol makes these cookies every Christmas for her friends and family and I have always loved them. This year she shared her recipe with me, and now I can enjoy them all year!
ingredients
- Dough:
- 3 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 lb butter (1 stick)
- 1 cup flour
- Filling:
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
