Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

At least 25 bowls of ice cream

A well known summer dessert.

ingredients

4 eggs separated
sugar to taste
1 tsp lemon juice
3/4 pint heavy cream
or 1/2 pint double cream plus 1/4 pint single cream
1 tbsp vanilla sugar
pinch salt

directions

take 3 bowls

#1 4 egg yolks, sugar, tsp lemon juice

#2 4 egg whites, pinch salt

#3 cream, castor sugar,vanilla.

Whisk all 3 bowls until

#1 yolks light

#2 whites firm but not dry

#3 cream thick

Mix all together and freeze

(or just put in an ice cream machine and let that do the work if you have one, just throw all the ingredients in and PRESTO!! Finished ice cream...)

notes

You can also change by adding melted chocolate. Or by adding 1 cup Strawberry Jam. Mix in fruit for a different FX. Or candy even. Oreos, Cookie Dough, anything in 1 cup will work. Try adding different exracts and colors too! Very different yet yummy too!
