Greek Meatballs
ingredients
- 2 pounds ground round
- 1 large onion, chopped fine
- 2 closes garlic or 3 tsp garlic powder
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp parmesan or romano cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp oregano
- 2-3 slices of bread
- salt and pepper.
directions
Place all ingredients in a bowl and blend well. Set in refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Shape in small balls, roll in flour and fry in hot salad oil until golden brown. They my be broiled or baked if desired. These may be served hot or cold. A tomato sauce may be added and served hot with rice, spaghetti, or desired side dish

I liked to help my mother make these because I could use my hands to mash the meat together and roll them into little balls.
