Muffins

• 2 1/2 c. flour
• 2 t. baking powder
• 1/2 t. baking soda
• 1/2 t. salt
• 1/2 c. shortening
• 1 c. sugar
• 2 large eggs at room temperature
• 1 c. orange juice
• 2 T. grated orange zest
• 1 c. finely chopped pecans

Glaze

• 1 1/2 c. confectioner’s sugar
• 2 t. water (or more)
• 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans for garnish
