Orange Almond Cake

ingredients

• 3 eggs-divided
• 1 can (8 oz.) almond paste, you can soften in the microwave just a few seconds to soften
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup butter, softened to room temp.
• 1/4 cup flour
• zest of 1 orange
• 1/2 cup thinly sliced almonds-don’t toast
• powdered sugar-optional
