Batter Fried MushroomGina
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1 Tsp. Salt
- 1 1/2 Tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 Tsp. Baking Powder
- 1 1/2 Cups Beer
- Oil for Deep Frying
- 36-48 Mushrooms
1. Combine flour, salt, garlic powder and baking powder in a medium bowl; add beer and whisk until smooth.
2. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
3. Whisk again and let stand in fridge until ready to use.
4. Clean mushrooms. Heat oil to 375°; holding mushrooms by the stem, dip in batter, covering cap. Fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towel.
