Ohio Buckeyes
ingredients
- 2 sticks margarine or butter, softened to room temp
- 2 cups creamy Peanut Butter
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 5 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup finely crushed Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 12-oz. bag semi sweet chocolate chips
- 8 oz. Paraffin wax

Cream together in a large bowl the margarine, peanut butter and vanilla. Add the 5 cups of powdered sugar and crushed Rice Krispies. Mix until creamy and all sugar well blended.

Scoop out one-inch balls of dough with a teaspoon and place on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper. Chill for 1 hour.

In a double boiler pan, melt the semi-sweet chocolate and the Paraffin wax (shaved into smaller pieces to melt quickly).

Dip the dough balls in the warm chocolate mixture and return to the cookie sheet. Refrigerate until firm and store in the fridge.
