Strawberry Pretzel Squares
ingredients
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup margarine, melted
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup Cool Whip
- 2 cups boiling water
- 8-serving-size box strawberry gelatin
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 2 pints strawberries, sliced

1. Heat oven to 350°.

2. Mix pretzels, 1/3 cup sugar, and margarine in 13“x9” pan and press firmly.

3. Bake 10 minutes and cool.

4. Beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and milk until smooth.

5. Stir in cool whip and spread over crust.

6. Refrigerate.

7. Stir together boiling water and gelatin until gelatin is dissolved.

8. Stir in cold water and refrigerate 1 1/2 hours.

9. Spoon in strawberries and pour mixture over cream cheese.

10. Refrigerate 3 hours before serving.
