Turkey Biscuit Bake
ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups milk + more
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- salt
- pepper
- 4 cups cooked turkey
- 3 1/2 cups biscuit mix
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 egg
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1. Melt butter in saucepan and stir in 1 1/2 cups milk and flour.

2. Add cheese and turkey.

3. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.

4. Put biscuit mix into a bowl and stir in cream of tartar.

5. Pour 3/4 cup water into biscuit mix and add egg.

6. Stir with a fork to a stiff dough and press half the dough into a greased cake pan.

7. Spread turkey mix over dough.

8. Roll out remaining dough and place on top of turkey mix.

9. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.

10. Heat condensed cream of mushroom soup with enough milk to make a nice gravy.

11. Season gravy with pepper and pour over turkey biscuit bake before serving.
