Chocolate Banana Sundae Pie

- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4/cup granulated sugar
- 1/4/ cup melted butter
- Filling
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder sifted
- 1/3 cup toasted chopped almonds
- 1/3 cups maraschino cherries or dried cranberries
- Garnish
- 24 banana slices
- 1/2 cup of chocolate sauce
- 8 cherries or cranberries

In a small bowel blend together crumbs, sugar and butter

Press into a greased 9 inch pie plate Bake at 375’ for 8 minutes. Cool on a rack

In a large bowl whip cream with sugar and sifted cocoa.Fold in bananas,almonds, cherries. Spoon into pie shell and spread evenly.Cover and freeze for 4 hours or up to 2 days.

Let pie stand for 20 minutes in frig, cut into wedges

Garnish with chocolate sauce and cherry
